Review: M.A.C makeover!

Yesterday I went to Bluewater to have my M.A.C makeover done! I can honestly give it a 10 out of 10! It was my first ever time having a professional do my makeup. So for those who are like me and are a makeover virgin here's what happened.

In December I went in wanting to make a purchase of a new lipstick (Russian red) when I enquired about a makeover. I paid £30 and booked in for January. I was asked what it was for and I said my birthday.

When I went in yesterday I had no clue what was about to happen. I was just more excited about being pampered and coming out looking pretty. When she came over she asked what I was wanting and if I had any photos. I didn't really have a preference and had no photos. The only thing I said was I always play my makeup safe, explaining my holy grail lipstick is lovelorn and I'm never very adventurous. I told her I like the vamp look but I had never been brave enough to try it.

During the makeover she was very helpful. I asked her a few questions about what she was doing and how she did things and she was more than happy to help. I was sat in the chair for about an hour and a half. Seems a long time but really it wasn't.

At the end you get to redeem your £30 you paid for the makeover on products on the counter. I brought the lipstick she used (viva glam III), the lashes I had applied in number 4 and a sponge applicator. Also, you get a little card with the products used on your face on the day so you can come back and buy any you weren't able to on the day. Will be doing this again in the near future no boubt!

Look back: my 20th

So as you may be aware from my last post I was unsure of what to do for my birthday and it took my boyfriend and I until 12 o'clock to decide what to do. Eventually we decided to spend the afternoon in Walworth.

So we first decided to go to Arments pie and mash shop. Now not being a Londoner (or where ever else does this) I had never heard of pie, mash and liquor before. Pie and mash yes, liquor I was very confused on the matter. When my boyfriend first said about liquor I thought 'you put alcohol on your pies?!' However, it's a sauce that is made out of parsley and is of green colour. I have to say it tastes amazing. Arments has been open for over 100 years and the quality of their food is amazing. It's amazingly priced as well!

After pie and mash I was missing Creams from back in my little home town and really wanted one for dessert. This is when I discovered Kaspas. If you have never heard of Creams or Kaspas before they are both Italian gelato and dessert restaurants. It was lovely! I had a Nutella and strawberry crêpe and my boyfriend had a strawberry sundae. We also ordered warm cookie dough to share. This is another restaurant that is reasonably priced.

After our little adventure we came back home where I discovered I had a very pink cake fit for a princess! It even came equipped with it's own tiara!

All in all I had a lovely day. :)

It's my birthday!

It's my 20th birthday today! It suddenly dawned on me about half an hour ago that I'm half way to 40! I literally sat bolt upright in bed and went 'oh no this means I'm half way to 40!' So I have decided now I need to focus on where I want to get to and what I want to do. So I have a few things up my sleeves that I can merge into but it's finding time and money. On a lighter side even though I'm not feeling to good I'm going to make the most of my 20th and enjoy my day. Also any suggestions on what I can do today?

I'm moving!

So I've been extremely busy over the past month or so preparing for my move which is happening this weekend! It's all been a little bit hectic. I'm moving on to another job having just finished my last. I'm now packing and trying to compact all of my stuff so that there isn't a lot to take I'm hoping to do 4 boxes. Is it possible who knows? That's why I have been a little inactive for the past few weeks. So I'm sorry for the lack of posts... but I will keep you posted on what's happening :)

New phone- iPhone 6s

So this time last week I treated myself to a new phone. I was tired of my Samsung and the pain of a swollen battery. I had always resisted the temptation of the iPhone hype but this time I couldn't resist. I had been into the shop before hand to see what the phones were like. I did compare it to the Samsung galaxy s 6 edge. However, having a bad experience with my galaxy s 4 I turned away from it and went for an iPhone and that's when I came across the 6s.

I can honestly say I do not regret anything. Yeah there are a few things I miss but there seems to be so much more. I have all my apps back and I'm continuing my blog on my iPhone. The camera is so much better as well. The screen is so much brighter and the clarity of the screen is amazing. I would have like the rose gold one but they were out of stock and I couldn't wait so I opted for space grey.

So as I am new to the apple world in particular the iPhone world I'd like to know what tips you have or what your favourite apps are.

Trying something new

I'm sorry for the dely of posts the month just been crazy. I'm back though and I'm back for good.

So I mentioned I was trying something new I'm uploading from my phone. I want to see how this looks as it will probably be easier for me to do this in the future. I currently have a broken laptop and my only other option is the shared computer in the lounge.

Otherwise things have been good. I made a blog post for vinted ( http://www.vinted.co.uk/blog) so you can check out my September favourites there. I have also started to put in place some healthy eating and fitness regime. I brought a USA Pro yoga mat from sports direct. They have gone down in price to £5.99 since I brought mine at £7.99 (if only I'd waited). I also brought a Davina kettlebell from argos. I brought the 4kg one but they are also avaliable in 6kg and 8kg. I opted for the 4kg as it was the cheapest at £11.99 (and as a starter).

I hope everyone is having a good week! :)

So the journey begins

Hi my name is Natasha, Tasha for short. As you can tell this is my first ever blog post, it will take me a while to get into things but I have so much to talk about. I am 19 years old and have a very busy job. I have an amazing, supportive boyfriend that if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't be laying on my bed writing this today. I have always read and admired other blogs so here's my take on things. My blog will mainly feature fashion, make-up, advice and a few day-to-day things.

So a here's about me:

I am a natural blonde whose favourite colours are red and pink. I love animals especially dogs and horses, I have been brought up around them all my life. I am always up for a chat, I am an extremely talkative person and can make a conversation about almost anything. I have become more confidant because of my job as I have to talk to people and impress people I don't know.

I am a massive lover of all things to do with fashion and beauty. I am an obsessive shopper, if I see it and like it chances are I will buy it. I love all make-up brands and am always trying new things. I am always on the look out for up and coming trends. I am contently looking out for new things on the market and things that are coming out. I have always had a passion for anything to do with make-up and fashion so why not share how i view things with everyone.

I finished college a year ago and gained a level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education. College life was good but not always 100% it was a long, tough journey but I came through it and am pleased with were I am now. I always think about other qualifications I would like to gain such as, hairdressing and completing a professional make-up course but I would need to find a way of balancing everything around my work life and social life.

I have the worlds most supportive boyfriend. I know you've probably heard it a dozen times before but he really is. Like I said if it wasn't for him I would not be writing this. He was the one who told me to go for it and it's something that you want to do. He is the most reassuring and caring guy I have ever met.

If you have any questions for me or anything you would like to see please feel free to ask. Feel free to have a chat to! :)
